2024年6月9日 · Even ignoring our lord and savior, the 2.7 RS, there is still another car I would rather drive. Having driven and dealt with it and its predecessor, I prefer the 964 RS over the 993. The 993 fixes some of the ride quality issues of the 964, has the objectively better rear suspension design, is faster and easier to drive.

2022年8月1日 · Because it’s Reddit, I’m gonna nitpick like a fucking pedant and say the Focus RS isn’t a great example because the RS is a high power AWD, a nod to their Foucs WRC rally car. In that case, the Rally Sport actually connotes “like a rally car.” I absolutely don’t know why a Camero was named RS.

I drive an RS 5 because, for me, it’s the best balance of everything. It’s closer to a full sedan’s size than an RS 3, but it’s not a boat like an RS 7. And it’s got almost all of the latter’s sexy sportback looks.

2023年2月3日 · Made a switch from the RS to the Type R (FK8) myself. While I do miss the RS, if I had one car….I’d go with the Civic. The car feels better and is more practical. My First FK8 got totaled in front of my driveway…some dude with a Stolen EG crashed it into my 7k mile old FK8. Ended up picking up another FK8 to replace it with.

2022年2月10日 · Since the car was released every review covered the seats and every group of reviewers had people in both camps. I truly think the only way to know is an hour in the seats. My wife and I have don’t several 13 hour days in the seats both in our RS and our ST and we both are comfortable the whole time.

2024年3月29日 · I had a 2021 Malibu as a corporate lease that was totaled when a distracted driver ran a red light and T-boned me into another car at 45 mph. Besides a painful bruise from the seatbelt and a burn on my arm from the airbag, I was just fine. Official car of taking a literal beating. With that said, I actually enjoyed driving it quite a bit.

2023年8月28日 · I had a 991.1 GT3 which I sold for a profit and considered getting a GTS to spec and mod it. I decided against it since the other 911 variants are much tamer and just not the same experience as a track focused GT3/RS car. You most likely won’t lose much money at all on an RS unless you paid a huge markup.

2022年10月31日 · I think it’s a matter of fundamentals. True supercars are original ideas with a focus on speed/performance over practicality. Neither the GT3 or RS are original ideas. They’re revisions of the base 911 which is sports car/grand tourer. Yes they have supercar performance but they lack the fundamental approach of a supercar.

2024年5月5日 · For an RS car the steering wheel should look and feel sportier. I’d prefer a much thicker one with a slightly smaller overall size. Basically something more like a BMW M one. The steering feel is a little numb and loose vs feeling direct. For such a sporty car it should feel more precise and weighty.

2021年9月11日 · When I finally move on from my B8.5 S4 I’m looking at the RS5 over the RS3 for a few reasons. Interior quality, size (family), and lastly I think for five grand on each car the RS3 will be faster, but marginally. Both will be ripping 10s. At this point get the better car to daily IMO. Not that you’d go wrong with either car.
