M50 v 2JZ v RB26 What's your opinion on these Straight-Six engines? Do you think Toyota's JZ or Nissan's RB are better that the M50? Would a JZ or RB even fit in an e30? How easy is it to get the Japanese six compared to the M50? I'm just looking at some possibilities, i don't have anything planned yet. Thanks.

2008年6月21日 · One of the reasons why the Ross Tuffbond MetalJackets (RB26 app) had underdrive the powersteering pulley was to prevent the tossing of belts. I spoke to Ross about this as the stock and previous model balancers were tossing p/s belts on track cars on various power levels (majority being higher powered/revving motors).

2012年9月12日 · Steel RB26 OEM flywheel (with the power level I'm running, wasn't going to risk warping an aluminum one), and RPS Z32 N/A 6 puck clutch (650ft-lb holding) Front subframe/crossmember was notched and reinforced for oil pan clearing.

2011年9月30日 · To my understanding the rb26 oil pan cannot be given a water tight weld because the oil has soaked into the metal of the oil pan. So what are the options for the oil pan to fit into the s-chassis?

2008年10月15日 · Rotella T is good on engines that have oil pump slack, and want to regain some oil pressure. The only bad thing about Rotella T, is that is *Is* made for diesels and contributes to more carbon/sludge buildup. Nissan Recommends 7.5w-30 for all RB engines. Since we don't get that, 10w-30 should be fine. Oil, is oil, is oil, is oil. Keep it in, clean, and the pressure up. Thank you come again.

i m thinking about swapping an RB26 engine (skyline) into a 325e i was just woundering if anyone has heard about doing this before or if its even possible
