Quark–gluon plasma - Wikipedia
Quark–gluon plasma (QGP or quark soup) is an interacting localized assembly of quarks and gluons at thermal (local kinetic) and (close to) chemical (abundance) equilibrium. The word plasma signals that free color charges are allowed.
Physicists Make 'Quark Soup' to Study the Early Universe
2018年12月13日 · The new research not only provides further proof that scientists can truly create a melted soup of quarks and gluons, which both serve as building blocks for protons and neutrons. It also shows that QGPs act very much like perfect fluids, which collectively flow as a …
DOE Explains...Quarks and Gluons | Department of Energy
This soup of quarks and gluons permeated the entire universe until a few fractions of a second after the Big Bang, when the universe cooled enough that quarks and gluons froze into protons and neutrons.

2010年6月9日 · Over the past decade, physicists around the world have been trying to re-create that soup, known as quark-gluon plasma (QGP), by slamming together nuclei of atoms with enough energy to produce trillion-degree temperatures.
Early Universe 'Soup' Cooked Up in Weird Plasma Blobs
2018年12月14日 · For the first split second after the Big Bang, the universe was nothing but an extremely hot "soup" of quarks and gluons — subatomic particles that would become the building blocks of protons and...
