Pruzhany is a district town in the Grodno province, situated on either side of the Muchawca river, which is formed by two small rivulets: Mucha and Wica, joined on the outskirts of town, along its left side. The river divides the town into two uneven segments, of which the greater is found on the right bank of the Muchawca river.
