List of potentially habitable exoplanets - Wikipedia
The following list includes some of the potentially habitable exoplanets discovered so far. It is mostly based on estimates of habitability by the Habitable Worlds Catalog (HWC), and data from the NASA Exoplanet Archive. The HWC is maintained by the Planetary Habitability Laboratory at the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo. [1]

2024年8月6日 · Discovering the first true "alien Earth" is a long-held dream of astronomers — and recent exoplanet discoveries have shown that small, rocky worlds like our own are abundant in our galaxy.
The nearest potentially habitable planet to Earth – Exoplanet ...
2015年12月16日 · UNSW Australia astronomers have discovered the closest potentially habitable planet found outside our solar system so far, orbiting a star just 14 light-years away. The planet, more than four times the mass of the Earth, is one of three that the team detected around a red dwarf star called Wolf 1061.

2017年4月7日 · Of the 3400 confirmed exoplanets, there are only around 15 that fall into the category of ‘habitable’ and out of those 15, there are five that SETI astronomer Jeff Coughlin thinks are the most ...
PHL @ UPR Arecibo - Habitable Worlds Catalog
2024年3月21日 · The Habitable Worlds Catalog (HWC) lists up to 70 potentially habitable worlds out of over five thousand known exoplanets. Of these, 29 are more likely to be rocky planets capable of surface liquid water (conservative sample). The other 41 might include water worlds or mini-Neptunes, with a lower likelihood of habitable conditions (optimistic ...
Largest Batch of Earth-size Habitable Zone Planets Found …
2025年2月4日 · In a press release on February 22, 2017, NASA announced the discovery of the most Earth-sized planets found in the habitable zone of a single star, called TRAPPIST-1. This system of seven rocky worlds–all of them with the potential for water on their surface – is an exciting discovery in the search for life on other worlds.
Life in Our Solar System? Meet the Neighbors - NASA Science
2020年11月10日 · Our solar system’s majestic giants – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune – and their trains of moons might almost be considered solar systems in their own right. Some of these moons could well be habitable worlds; one of them, Titan, has a thick atmosphere, rain, rivers and lakes, though composed of methane and ethane instead of water.
NASA Planet Hunter Finds its 1st Earth-size Habitable-zone World
2020年1月7日 · NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has discovered its first Earth-size planet in its star’s habitable zone, the range of distances where conditions may be just right to allow the presence of liquid water on the surface.
Earth-Size, Habitable Zone Planet Found Hidden in Early NASA …
2020年4月15日 · A Possible Third Planet Kepler-1649c not only is one of the best matches to Earth in terms of size and energy received from its star, but it provides an entirely new look at its home system. For every four times the outer planet in the system orbits the host star, the inner planet orbits almost exactly nine times.
