This is the current market pricing for 2013-2014 911 base carrera. Just for comparison, a decent spec 2016-2017 AMG GT which is arguably better track car than a base Carrera can be got at around $60k with even lower mileages.

I was planning to put a deposit down for a 911 GTS (992.2), but the recent price hike has me reconsidering. I'm now thinking about possibly ordering a Base Carrera instead. However, after configuring a Base Carrera, the price gap with the GTS is around $30k-$35k.

Hey guys I need some help deciding between allocations. 2024 Carrera S at MSRP or 2025 Carrera GTS with a 15k ADM. I want something I can drive daily and really not going to track it. Also thinking about resale value and wondering if the old 992.1 won’t hold the value as well as a new 992.2 GTS.

This car was Europe only, and to make up for that, Porsche later made the RS America, not a true RS, but a stripped-down Carrera 2. In the US, there has been a meaningful amount of supply hitting the lightly used market. I’ve been tracking 992 GTS and GT3 specifically and have been seeing prices soften and lots of cars not selling quickly. Prices are still over New MSRP mostly but coming down.
