I'm also quite sure I'm cutting branches bigger than it's intended to cut. 2016年3月18日 · About a month back we picked up a Stihl KM 131R kombi and wondering if folks here would like a review of it? We did this after 20 or so years of using Echo pole saws. This is the long type of saw that is extendable, not the telescoping out type of saws. We use these saw lots for doing trail clearing, maybe 8 gallons of fuel burned per season.

It was just like a Stihl gas powered limb saw - but much more robust construction. It had been returned because it was just too heavy. And it was probably pretty cumbersome to use. Had a 25 foot hydraulic hose attached.

2004年2月3日 · I also have a hyd back pack with a chainsaw pole mounted saw that tree surgeons use in their bucket trucks. Some of the units also have a hyd powered circular blade for the trimming. You can probably make a hyd powered saw unit out of a small hyd motor, sprocket and chain to match. You would want a motor spool for the control valve.

2016年8月2日 · Pole isn't bent, I didn't drop anything on it (this time!) and its straight as an arrow to look at it. When I the locking collar off, you can see 4 washers that get compressed to hold the pole tight when you extend it. If I move those washers by hand, it's easy to move the pole. The washers are just REALLY hard to move up and down the pole.
