2016年12月13日 · Purchased a 94 sportsman 400 2-stroke ATV about a month ago. I know the ATV was used on the farm mainly, and does not appear to have been abused. The battery on it was dead, so I had it hooked up to my battery charger running on 12V @ 75 amps to start the ATV during testing.

2020年2月10日 · Hello, I just picked up a 98 Sportsman 400 2 stroke - I had hoped it was not starting due to carb issues but turns out it's got very low compression. Does anyone know if the top end can be done with the motor still in the quad? I have done Yamaha's this way and it seems to save a lot of work wrestling with the motor.

The engine will bolt up , but you will need the 500 engine mounts. you will have to cut the center mount out of the 500 frame,the exhaust mount and the front engine mount. You have to take measurements off the 500 frame to weld them back on your frame.also the bottom oil tank bracket.
