The DRAK-25 Plasma Carbine is an unlockable primary weapon for the Scout. It is a somewhat retro futuristic carbine with the stock being incorporated into the handle and attached to the magazine.

Far from a Gk2 clone, this gun is actually one of the most complex and rewarding weapons in the game. It's got great damage, accuracy, burst, and even sustain if you build it right. It has the highest max RoF (rate of fire) of any gun in the game (20), and its potential burst DPS is the highest, by far, of any Scout primary.

Overcharged PCF gives Scout his easiest mean of electrocuting enemies, giving great speed control for kiting and killing bugs. Plasma Splash gives Scout his best pseudo-AoE tool in a primary (minus Electrifying Reload on the GK2 and arguably Blowthrough on the M1000).

How are you guys building your DRAK-25 Plasma Carbines? Kinda wanted to hear what people are playing with. I've settled on using the "Overtuned Particle Accelerator" (increases base damage, higher heat per shot and spread) overclock together with a BAAAA build. Impact Deflection is great, top tier. Thermal liquid coolant is decent.

2021年11月16日 · I've settled on using the "Overtuned Particle Accelerator" (increases base damage, higher heat per shot and spread) overclock together with a 21111 build. I only just got the OPA overclock. But so far I've been running the shield battery booster overclock with 21212.

2023年4月27日 · Plasma carbine is my favorite weapon! It's much better at continuous (if not quite sustained) damage, and I find it is better for more run-and-gun builds where you might not be going so much for weak spots, but just zipping all over. On high damage builds it can be a really good quick-burst-its-dead weapon for medium ranges.
