There are several major reasons for this: Access from an attractive high mountain pass. Presence of a lift that takes you to almost 3000 meters (9842 ft) of elevation. The mountain group itself looks incredibly attractive.

The 3,152 m high Piz Boé summit is part of the Sella Group and it is known to be one the easiest summits to climb which are higher than 3,000 metres. In a sunny August day we take the Boè Gondola Lift in Corvara, which takes us at 2,200 m a.s.l. and then, with the Vallon Chairlift, we reach our starting point at 2,500 m a.s.l.

The Piz Boè is well-known far beyond the borders. It is considered the easiest three thousander of the Dolomites and can be climbed in approx. 1 hour. The mountain is also famous for the gorgeous view from the top. The hike starts at the mountain station of the Sass Pordoi Cable Car, the valley station is located at the Passo Pordoi ridge.
