Like most taunts, it produces no hitbox, nor does it give any other benefit; however, it has one attribute which makes it special: it's only one of two taunts in the game able to be cancelled by shield, the other being Pikachu's, allowing Pichu players to cancel it two-thirds of a second before the animation ends.

2025年3月1日 · Up Taunt: Charges up with electricity, similar to Pikachu's up taunt, but falls back dazed at the end. Side Taunt : Jumps up and waves at the camera, saying "Pichu!" This was its left-facing taunt in Melee .

Up Taunt: Pichu tries charging up an electrical attack but ends up feeling dizzy. Down Taunt: Pichu cuddles up on the ground and says its name. Side Taunt: Pichu hops in the air waving its arms and shouting its name.

Up Taunt: Pichu will jump up and down four times chanting, “Pichu!” Down Taunt: Pichu will lay down on the ground and roll around his position saying, “Piiiiiiiiichuu!” Side Taunt: Pichu will suddenly sneeze and electrocute itself. Luckily this doesn't actually hurt Pichu.

Pichu is an unlockable character and can be unlocked by completing Event Match #37 or playing at least 200 Melee matches. Its main stage is Pokémon Stadium.

2011年2月25日 · Maybe a waveland, but try wavedashing with pichu onto a ledge. It's hard to use it without f-ing up the ledgegrab. The u-tilt and d-tilt hitboxes are pretty sweet looking. Look at how far pichu's stubby arms can grab from. His upair actually looks somewhat ridiculous... Comparing it to his height anyway.

Pichu will dash forward, slamming into any opponent in its path. This will trap the opponents into his Final Smash. Pichu will perform a Z-dance and then launch itself into the air.

Pichu is the lightest fighter in the game and the only one to have two taunts. Pichu was given the same Final Smash as Pikachu, Volt Tackle. Some of Pichu's moves cause minor damage to itself, such as Volt Tackle, although Pikachu's does not.

Pichu's idle animations, taunt, and victory poses are all different from Pikachu's. Pichu can wall jump, aiding its recovery. All of Pichu's electrical attacks (except for its up, down and back throws) inflict recoil damage. Pichu is significantly lighter than Pikachu, giving it a much lower survivability.
