Phthalates - ECHA
2023年11月28日 · Phthalates covered by this restriction include: DEHP, DBP, DIBP, BBP, diisopentylphthalate 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid di-C6-8-branched alkyl esters C7-rich, bis (2-methoxyethyl) phthalate dipentyl phthalate, and dihexyl phthalate. The restrictions also regulate the import of articles containing these phthalates.
2024年8月7日 · Furthermore, it is proposed to explore, how to regulate ortho-phthalates as a group, rather than substance by substance, i.e how to achieve harmonised classification, restriction and/or SVHC identification, which would cover any ortho-phthalate which in its structure contains the backbone range of the alkyl substituent between C4-C6 carbon ...
Mono-isononyl phthalate was found in the highest concentration of all phthalate monoesters included in the study. In the study a correlation was found between the metabolite MINP and LH levels, where MINP dose dependently increased serum LH. This was the only effect which reached statistical significance.
ANNEX XVII TO REACH – Conditions of restriction Restrictions on the manufacture, placing on the market and use of certain dangerous substances, mixtures and articles
Many new biomonitoring studies on phthalates in human body fluids as proxy to overall exposure are also reported, with a main focus on the presence of DEHP or its 1 Council Directive 67/548/EEC of 27 June 1967 on the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances. …
The major step in the metabolism of DEHP is hydrolysis by lipases to MEHP (mono(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate) and 2-ethylhexanol. The substance is excreted via the urine, mainly as MEHP-metabolites, but some excretion via bile also occurs in rodents.
Brief Profile - ECHA
The Brief Profile summarizes the non-confidential data on substances as it is held in the databases of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), including data provided by third parties. The Brief Profile is automatically generated; note that it does not currently distinguish between harmonised classification and minimum classification; information requirements under different …
In the review references have only been considered if it is specified that the substance is equal to di-n-octyl phthalate (DNOP). If di-octyl phthalate (DOP) is mentioned in the study, the study has only been considered if the CAS number corresponding to DNOP is specified.
Substance Information - ECHA
Substance identity Substance identity The ‘Substance identity’ section is calculated from substance identification information from all ECHA databases. The substance identifiers displayed in the InfoCard are the best available substance name, EC number, CAS number and/or the molecular and structural formulas. Some substance identifiers may have been claimed …
For phthalate esters in general, after formation of the monoester, there can be further hydrolysis in vivo to phthalic acid or the corresponding alcohol, which can be excreted or further oxidized to an aldehyde, ketone, or carboxylic acid.
