Wild garlic is an unmistakeable plant - the garlicy smell alone can be a tell-tale sign! Otherwise, look for rounded clusters of star-like, white flowers borne on straight green stems. Its leaves are grey-green, oval and narrow, and grow around the base of the stem.

2022年5月11日 · Finding new patches of woodland in Dallington covered in wild garlic with a few bluebells and orchids thrown in. Makes a good colourful composition of woodland flora. Orchids in the woods! It was an overcast day giving even lighting throughout the scene.

With waterside plants in profusion, we will explore around the river and surrounding area, looking out for things like Comfrey & Wild Garlic. This is a great walkabout for wild plants and trees. We also hope to see some early Summer mushrooms.
