In 2017, the Michigan Department of Transportation will replace the existing bridge at Summerfield Road over US-23 in Monroe County. The new bridge will be built higher than the existing structure, which will require the approaches on Summerfield Road to be reconstructed approximately 800 feet on either side of US-23.
