I put a rock in the bottom tray of their cage because I wanted to wear down those sharp young rat claws (ouch!) and noticed they pee on it, I was litter training at the time but they would only poop in the traytray and pee everywhere else. so I put the rock in the litter tray and hey presto! no more stinky fleece!

2013年6月5日 · Cinder blocks and bricks should run about a buck or so and lava rock comes in huge bags for about 8 dollars. If you are anywhere in NJ, I've got about 40 lbs of lava rock in the basement a pile of bricks in the back yard and likely some broken cement you are welcome to. Seriously this stuff is easy to scavenge if you think rubbish.

2021年4月17日 · I agree, no need for a vet if it doesn't seem to bother or affect her. I haven't heard of a cyst on a rat's belly before. Although, then again, I might just live under a rock. 2010年4月29日 · Pete is a beige hooded. Not quite markings, but an awful lot of white. I know high white blazes are a major risk for megacolon but his face is solid beige. I feed them a base of Kaytee Pro-Health lab blocks, but I have just ordered ten pounds of Teklan 8604 and a grain mix. I am going to be mixing Suebee's this weekend.

2008年5月11日 · i bought a mineral wheel, partly because of all the minerals the rats would get and partly because its rock hard, a great way to keep those teeth in check. Can rats have a mineral block as part of a healthy supplement? There is also a salt block with it but rats dont need extra salt. Can a Degus have the salt lick?
