2019年1月17日 · St. Jude’s iconic red wagons are all around the hospital, these vehicles of hope and transport, these symbols of childhood and of the St. Jude philosophy of tending to the patient’s emotional as well as physical state.

At Warrior Wagons, our mission is simple: to provide newly diagnosed pediatric cancer families with a collapsible wagon filled with practical and comfort items to help them on their cancer journey. We give families tools they need to navigate the path ahead, and make everyday life with childhood cancer a little easier.

Whether it’s to wave goodbye to a discharged patient happily riding out the door with their balloons and personal belongings or a more somber time, as these same wagons roll children to surgery or their latest chemo treatment. Wagons have been our preferred mode of patient transportation since the 1960’s.

2024年2月14日 · Kids at St Jude Children's Research Hospital get to travel in wagons. It's how they roll. Wheelchairs can be scary, at any age, never mind for a child with cancer. It's way more fun to ride in a wagon and it makes kids feel a little more normal.
