Solved: Drawing - Parent and projection view - PTC Community
2023年3月15日 · I am new to creo I have a query on the drawing of view. I have projected a view from a parent view and have created a lot of dimensions. Now I just want to delete the parent view or make the projected view as a parent. Is there a way to do this? This is because if I delete the parent view then the projected view also gets deleted along with it.

Then redefine the section by flipping the section (in the upper left corner to the right of the value). Now go back to the drawing and regenerate the drawing and model. See if this corrects the problem.

Good configuration management practices say that a revision to a part shouldn't affect the usage of an upper level assembly, if so (Form, Fit or Function has changed) then a new part number should be issued - which would require a revise for the upper level.
