The Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) (Thai: องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัด, Acronym: อบจ.) is a devolved local government body in Thailand. [1][2] It is developed from the existing provincial council which provided advices and recommendations on behalf of local people to a centrally-appointed governor.
