Palakkad (Malayalam: [pɐːlɐkːɐːɖɨ̆] ⓘ), also known as Palghat, historically known as Palakkattussery[citation needed][3], is a city and a municipality in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the administrative headquarters of Palakkad District.
