I think that was Indohyus (Pakicetus had been discovered first but this feature wasn't described/discovered in them until people took a second look after Indohyus - I think, my timeline might be off). Also both Pakicetus and Indohyus were discovered to be artiodactyls. Early cetaceans had artiodactyl bone structures in their back flippers.
