2024年3月17日 · It wasn't against Sikhs but Indians. The -jeet is from the -jeet in Baljeet, which is a character in an American cartoon Phineas and Ferb. The slur itself is from a racist meme "Pajeet, my son" (from the original Mehmet, my son meme). The full name in the slur meme is also "Pajeet Kumar".

I saw a video of Mohammed Hijab calling liberal Pakistanis pajeets. Something like “why would you voluntarily be a Pajeet”. And the crowd laughed which I assume would have contained Desi Muslims. Its like black people laughing at another black person being called the N word and thinking they’re separate.

Countering "pajeet" means countering the image of Indian Hindus (which for most people is synonymous with "Indian"). edit: some of you sending me dms about "Pakistanis are Indians." Doesn't matter how progressive some American-Indians are.

2018年4月21日 · It sounds like some corruption of Rajdeep, Puneet etc. Definitely they've pigeonholed India's nomenclature as from the North, but morphologically they probably consider lungis to be named Pajeet too. Wonderbar!
