PSP's cannot be fake. Only the shells can be swapped out for custom shells. Now if the seller said it's a Hannah Montana PSP and you confirm that it's just a shell swapped unit, then it was the listing which was fake, not the PSP. The insides will be legit PSP internals.

You were not scammed per se, but like many manufacturers the capacity of their product is a little exaggerated. I’ve never had a battery actually last 7 hours. Usually it’s 4 or so.
