2022年10月10日 · Ya you could recruit troops for your base in portable ops, it was a really cool feature. I used the mapthis app too and remembered there was a convoluted process of downloading chunks of Google maps data and then converting it using some pc software.

I'm using this PSP as a gps nav! So go explore still works today after almost 16 years after the release, maps can't be update but the signal is ok and the app works fine. It's fun to use, surely google maps is way better but i like have a psp on the dashboard of the car

2011年9月10日 · Recently, I just obtained a PSP-290 GPS receiver. I got it mainly because I am horrible with direction and I constantly get lost in the city, lol. Additionally, I will be going overseas, so a thought a GPS would be helpful. It was quite the hassle trying to figure out how exactly the Map This! program worked and how to load the maps onto the PSP.

It's also why I disregard almost any talk about any any device or product before it's released; can't stand vaporware*. *Yes, I know the GPS for PSP product actually exists, so it's not technically vaporware.
