2020年5月1日 · The PSG-1 is mechanically based on the G3 rifle but features a low-noise bolt closing device (similar to the forward assist on the M16A1/A2/A3/A4) to allow the shooter to remain silent until a shot is fired. I tried to use it - its not THAT silent, but much quieter than using a tradition HK-slap, or just letting the bolt fly.

2008年12月12日 · A heavy barreled MR762 built right will do everything a PSG-1 can, and then some, with much greater barrel life. With the right ammunition -- in my case Hornady TAP ELD AR 168gr -- I can reach out to 1000 yards at Colorado altitudes consistently against a full sized torso IPSC, and a 2x2' plate at 1200 yards.

2009年10月1日 · Next it was time to weld the extension to the trunion before I pressed the barrel in place. I then turned down the extension to match the diameter of the trunion. Pressing the barrel was quite different . the diameter of the PSG-1 barrel does not allow the barrel to be pressed in through the chamber side of the trunion .

But also, i had to make sure that my scope length was no more than 12.25 inches long (or something like that) since i had the HK claw mount with integral 30mm rings, otherwise the charging handle got in the way.

2010年3月16日 · When I help shooters with the Gen2 PSTs, I highly recommend that once you bottom out the turrets in step 1 that you come back up about 1 MIL or 2-3 MOA before removing the outer turret. Once removed, continue with disengaging the inner turret and proceeding with getting your zero and then putting everything back together as they instruct.
