2015年11月19日 · Did it a couple more times. Tried with USB (FAT32 , 4 GB storage abd everything named and downloaded corectly) the ps4 got it, downloaded the update, applied it and after restart - nothing. Back at the beggining, checked the HDD and it just doesnt want to update. Says update complete and when it restarts it doesnt want to boot.

2019年2月26日 · My PS4 had been having issues updating the software. It has no trouble downloading the install file, but when it tries to restart itself, it shuts down instead. I have nothing valuable on it so I downloaded the 6.20 update on the Sony website and tried to initialize in safe mode using USB. That made it worse. At first, it looked normal.

2018年2月2日 · Looks like your PS4 is looking for the initialisation software. There are two options for downloading firmware from the PlayStation support website. One is a firmware update and the other is the full firmware package, both are called PS4UPDATE.PUP. You need the full firmware file which is a much larger file than the update, around 2GB I think.
