2023年1月27日 · This is also something I've been doing for quite a while with other shows and on other subreddits, beginning with a long-running edit series over on the Total Drama subreddit, before I began to post many "pog" face collections for other shows as well. And it's certainly a heck of a ride, lol.

As for the origin of the term, Gootecks and Mike Ross did a video where they have a Pog championship. The face is from a different video by the same duo. Pogs were a collectible fad during the 90s, based on games played using drink bottle caps. The name originates from "Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava". From Nine_Gates elsewhere in the thread

PogChamp is a Twitch TV emote of an excited/surprised face. It's usually used when something crazy good happens unexpectedly, although it's over used so people just use it when anything mildly OK happens nowadays. Anyway that's been abbreviated to "Pog" or "Poggers" which is why you see that used more often than the actual emote!

I have put the the script, changed the quotes so they can fit my mod, and its still the normal, isaac face. How I tend to use the "pog" term in this context is a bit different than how the meme culture uses it, but to me it's any time a character silently reacts with their mouth/lips pursed into a small, round shape. And since I didn't really know what else to call it at the time, I kinda just stuck with that.

You could use the item quality system to know when to trigger the pog sprite. For example, when it’s 3 or 4. There’s an angel pool item (edit: it’s Sacred Orb) which rerolls items under certain quality just before the player enters the room, maybe you could use the part of the code that recognizes item quality to create your mod.

When Charlie did her pog face at Lucifer's Angelic Power! moment in Hell's Greatest Dad, she was probably reminded of the story that Lucifer told her when she was little. Baby Charlie had a pog face when Lucifer showed her the swan spreading his wings.
