POG 2 or Micro Pog? - The Gear Page
Jan 26, 2012 · I'm considering selling and getting a Micro Pog which will get me there with the octave up/down. Also, I'll have some extra cash in hand which will be nice as I just bought a Morgan Dual 40 and could use the cash. On the other hand, I really am attached to the POG 2, and I hate getting rid of pedals with the thought of just buying them back again.
Pog 2 alternatives. What's out there. | The Gear Page
Jul 7, 2019 · So I've got a pog 2 but the size of the unit is a bit of a pain. Is there anything out there with a similar feature set but a smaller footprint. So ability to go from simple straight octave up or down to fading octaves and synthy washes by …

Original POG vs POG 2 - The Gear Page
Mar 13, 2017 · I've noticed the original POG can be found for less than a new POG 2, and it has all the features I'd actually want from the POG 2. I know the feature differences, just wanted to ask if the POG sounds noticeably worse than the POG 2, whether it's any noisier than the 2, and whether it's any...
Should Electro-Harmonix make a dedicated 'swell/attack' pedal …
Aug 6, 2012 · Recently went in search of a pedal that did it as well as the POG, but all that I tried did not succeed. If they were to make a pedal in their nano-line, that simply did the swell effect, I rekon they would get a lot of buyers - especially considering the amount of forums posts I read of people trying to find a pedal that makes that kind of sound!
How does Kurt Rosenwinkel - The Gear Page
Mar 21, 2022 · Based on other clips I've reviewed that show the POG and HOG pedals in use, I don't believe that either of them are providing the modified initial attack (the auto-swell effect, aka slow gear). There's something more going on in his effects chain.
Pitch shifter latency and cleanest polyphonic tracking
Aug 9, 2017 · I'm interested by this thread. I had a Micro POG and then a Whammy 5 that I sold because it was taking so much space on my board and I wasn't needing it. Now I need an octaver (mostly for octave up and octave down), and I can't decide if I buy another Whammy 5 or a Pitchfork (with expression pedal that will sit next to my pedalboard)
POG2 placement? - The Gear Page
Oct 23, 2012 · Went through a ton of pages on the search but couldn't find a good placement post for the POG2. I don't actually have it yet, (it's in the mail), but was curious where you guys put yours. I'm running my Tele>tuner>muff clone>rat clone>Tim>Timeline (on the way)>tremolo>boost>reverb>AC15. Any info...
POG2: strange powering problem - The Gear Page
Jul 4, 2013 · Hi all, I'm having troubles with my POG2. I've been using it for years on my board with no problems. I have powered it with the Gigrig Generator via a Gigrig Distributor, which also divided the power for some other pedals. Recently, I switched the Pog on …
Should Electro-Harmonix make a dedicated 'swell/attack' pedal …
Aug 6, 2012 · So it all came down to those options : 1) Buy a POG 2. OR 2) Buy a Behringer Slow-Motion (SG-1 clone) and rehouse it. OR 3) Buy a VFE Bumblebee. The cheapest solution right now is #2, since it won't cost more than 30-40$. Having heard the pedal,it's more than good for what it does and I wouldn't really expect more.
