The PNR 900 class is a class of 21 GE Universal Series diesel–electric locomotives operated by the Philippine National Railways since 1973. The locomotives comes with three different types: U14CP (1973), U14C (1979), and U15C (1991).

U15C 903 has the distinction of being the last 900 class in the red livery, having been scrapped after U15C 908 (ex 904) at Caloocan Workshops. 903 is also the only one found to have the larger 'PHILIPPINES 2000' down the long hood.

Now she sits awaiting her turn with the gas axe. Inspection car IC-888 has spent many, many, years sitting in the workshops disused. On this visit we were treated to a look inside.

The original 908 had the smaller grills associated with the U14C and Phase 2 U15C of Philippine National Railways. These were indeed great times to be a fan of the Philippine National Railways. Employees were friendly and the system so open to those with an interest.
