Phil Guerrero (also known as PJ Phil or PJ "Fresh" Phil) is a former PJ on YTV. Phil got his start on YTV after a friend of his, Russell Chong, got Phil an audition[1] to be a co-host on YTV Rocks, a show which Chong presented at that time.

The Zone began its life as the Afterschool Zone on YTV, debuting on September 2, 1991, with its first host Gordon Michael Woolvett (aka Gord the PJ Man). [2] [3] [4] Other PJs would take turns hosting the block including PJ Phil (Phil Guerrero), PJ Robb (Rob Stefaniuk) and PJ Rockin' Chan (Chandra Galasso).
