PDP-8 - Wikipedia
The PDP-8 is a family of 12-bit minicomputers that was produced by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). It was the first commercially successful minicomputer, with over 50,000 units sold during the model's lifetime. [1]
PDP-8/I - Computer History Wiki - Gunkies
The PDP-8/I was introduced in 1968 as the successor to the PDP-8. It was constructed out of TTL ICs on M-class FLIP CHIPs - mostly early standard-length single-height (width) ones, with a few dual-height. It was the first DEC computer to be built using ICs. Options included: KA8/IB Positive I/O Bus Interface, to allow use of newer PDP-8 devices
PDP-8/I Computer
This is a PDP-8/I computer. This computer was model was introduced in 1968 as the sucessor to the original PDP-8 and was the first to be made with IC's. It was made of the new M series simple module boards similar in function to the R series ones used in earlier machines except now made with IC's and somewhat more logic on each card.
Doug Jones's DEC PDP-8 Models and Options - University of Iowa
This contains precisely the modules needed to upgrade a 4K PDP-8/I or PDP-12 to an 8K machine, or to populate an MM8I box to add 8K of additional memory to an 8/I or PDP-12.

PDP-8 is a 12bit mini-computer released by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in 1965. The great commercial success of this model established the category of mini-computers and made the manufacturer's name DEC as the leading company of the category.
PiDP-8/I – remaking the PDP-8/I - Raspberry Pi
2015年8月25日 · The PDP-8 was the first computer that came in at less than the size of a house to find commercial success. The original PDP-8, launched in 1965, was around the size of a fridge and weighed about 160lbs (with 60lbs of that weight being the power supply).
PiDP-8 | obsolescence
The PiDP-8/I is a modern replica of the 1968 PDP-8/I computer. So far, more than 3,000 have been built - coming close to the production numbers for the real PDP-8/I (about 3800...)
Corestore collection: pdp-8/I
The pdp-8I was one of DECs most successful systems prior to the pdp-8e. It was a 12-bit machine descended from the original pdp-8, and the pdp-5 before that. This is the one of the oldest systems I have in my collection, being built in 1967. It is a Real Computer: Real Computers have the octal listing for the RIM loader printed on the front ...

2021年2月14日 · One of the most time consuming steps in building our PiDP-8/I software is building the OS/8 RK05 disk images from pristine, tested, curated sources. If you simply want the resulting disk images, we provide them here for you to download:
Even though DEC's PDP-8/I (I for integrated circuits) is smaller and has more circuitry than the PDP-8 and PDP-5, it's hardware- and software compatible with them. Both the PDP-8 and its offspring are single-ad dress parallel computers. Each has a 1.5-micro second memory containing 4,096 words of 12 bits each.
