In the properties panel of pdf, under the details section, only file info is showing and the description information is not showing (pic attached). So i am not able to add tags to my pdf. 2010年2月7日 · I made the jump from XP to Windows 7. In XP I was able to edit the meta data in almost any file and place "keywords" even on PDF files. Windows 7 has done away with "keywords" and gone to "tags". I like this system better but what I find horribly frustrating is that there are many file types to which I cannot add "tags".

2022年8月25日 · The Tags property corresponds to the PDF Keywords property. If you right-click a PDF document and select Properties, you should see a PDF Information tab. Click that tab to see the properties that can be displayed, such as Title, Subject, Author, Keywords (Tags), etc. Those properties (i.e. column headings are selectable in File Explorer).

However, adding tags to PDF files is not supported in Windows explorer currently, we would suggest you to provide your feedback and suggestion on the same in feedback hub, as there might be other users with requirements of similar feature and we would suggest you to refer PDF properties and metadata for more details and check if it helps.

2015年2月6日 · When a Word document is saved as PDF, the PDF file will not take over the properties from the Word document. Only few properties like Tags, Subject, and Title will be carried over. However you may try to use Export > Create PDF/XPS and check if the custom properties are carried over.
