2016年1月1日 · The thing with the Quadro 2000 is that it doesn't have a PCIe power connector, and instead pulls all of its power from the motherboard, all 62w of it under load. I just realized that PCIe x8 slots officially per the PCIe specification only provide 25W of power. (PCIe x1 slots only provide 10w). The full x16 slots provide 75 watt.

2005年7月7日 · PCIE 5.0 so those are twice as fast as pcie 4.0, but I doubt the 8 pcie 5 lanes run at the full speed, but at least he is getting full pcie 4 speed from 8 lanes. So equivalent to x16 PCIe 3.0. Watch that and your performance would be at the PCIe Gen 3 results, so you can see for yourself the hit it is taking when running PCIe Gen4 x8.

2005年4月15日 · In theory you get limited to 1GB/s versus 2GB/s in PCIe 1.0a x4 v. x8. If it is an x4 2.0 or 2.1 slot or your array really provides like 500MB/s, then this is probably all a non issue. This all, of course, assumes you are talking about a x8 physical card in a x8 physical slot that is x4 electrical, or it is an open ended x4 slot.

It closes at higher resolutions since there is less commands/traffic being sent across PCIE bus due to lower frame rates (more time spent rendering, less time sending commands).

2022年2月21日 · Good research. The only thing that sticks out, PCIe 2.0 x8 is equivalent to PCIe 1.1 x16. If we're using the extra data from the 3080 to try and extrapolate the performance drop on a 3050, then the performance will be in the mid 80% range.
