The Heckler & Koch USP (Universelle Selbstladepistole or "universal self-loading pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol developed in Germany by Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) as a replacement for the P7 series of handguns.

The P8 A1 pistol is the standard sidearm of the German Armed Forces, or Bundeswehr. The P8 A1 is based on the HK USP (Universal Self-loading Pistol) handgun, which was adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1994. The P8 A1 has a unique configuration specifically for the Bundeswher.

2019年1月7日 · Thanks to my friends at Bear Arms in Scottsdale, we have an H&K P8A1 to take a look at today – the current Bundeswehr issue version of the USP. Chambered for 9x19mm and adopted in 1994, only a few things differentiate the P8/P8A1 from the standard commercial USP.

2023年3月3日 · The perfect combination for a USP/P8 (in my book) would be a P8A1 (for the beefed up slide) with a LEM Conversion, I don't care if it's a rifled or poligonal barrel. I myself carry a P8 (simply because I got it for a good price, could have been a USP too for all I care...) with LEM conversion on private security gigs and offcourse a standard P8 ...

2020年10月13日 · The P8 pistol from HK is the newest addition to the armed forces of Germany. Essentially a USP with the P8 designation provided by the German government, the P8 replaces the P1 (P38) in a number of units. The "backwards" safety lever was designed that way to facilitate the easy transition to the P8 from the P1.
