2011年3月3日 · Re: required chain grade for overhead suspension 50 feet isn't really that high, standard motor chains should be more than long enough to get there. Since it seems your motors have nonstandard chains, you should really use steel to extend their reach. Steel is lighter than chain, and is the "industry standard" way to extend the reach of a motor.

2011年3月7日 · Re: "For Overhead Lifting" The primary difference in stuff that is rated for overhead lifting is the traceability and testing of the items. Every piece of gear I have seen that is rated for overhead is marked in some way with a date, lot production number, etc.

Mic stands go in a custom case, 11.25" x 22.5" x 35", fits a dozen inside, and a kick stand outside (not pictured in the photo).

2011年1月11日 · Re: Overheads: small vs LARGE condenser The Shure VP88 is a noisy mic otherwise (say for a studio recording of acoustic guitar), but great for a "set it and forget it" stereo overhead pair if you are recording the set as well as live mixing. You can adjust the stereo spread, and "medium" works pretty well for a kit when tracking.
