Otter Facts - UK Wild Otter Trust
Eurasian otters are found in the wild in Britain and Scotland. They are found as far west as west coast of Ireland, and as far east as China; south to North Africa and north to the Arctic Circle. They inhabit lakes, rivers and rocky coasts. The average otter is 1–1.3 metres in length, and weighs up to 9kg.
