It was helpful when trying to synchronize recording from a cd to tape. There were several models in the R1 line from sleezy to pretty damn good.

2012年8月12日 · It's not R1, it's RI, which stands for Remote Interlink. There's a jack on the back for a mini plug, which when connected to an Onkyo receiver or amp that also has RI will give you remote control capability - even though the deck didn't come with a remote. Same thing for many of their CD players.

Second, it's not a model, it indicates that it has a remote control that's compatible with any other RI model - and an Onkyo receiver remote will control other RI pieces such as a cassette deck or CD player. 2018年3月4日 · Onkyo makes very good CD players. I don't know anything about this unit, but the older multi disc players were at least partially made by Technics. Technics mechanisms, lasers and electronics. Great sound. The single disc players appear to be mostly made by Onkyo, using other company's mechanism and laser.
