2022年9月29日 · There was a time I would buy Onkyo with my eyes closed. I still have a 2001 AVR model in "Shed Duty" in stereo - it still works great on the LCR channels, the surrounds started distorting at about 17 years in. No complains for 20+ years and still mostly going. It is my opinion that since the late 00's ONKYO is just a ghost of what it used to be.

The Onkyo 6100 had a better user interface IMO, and was the real deal instead of a clone knockoff that the Pioneer actually is. The cheaper price and better return policy made it very easy to decide on the Onkyo.

2001年6月26日 · The Yamaha weighs 31 lbs. The onkyo is 27 3/4 lbs. Also the Onkyo 696 weighs 4.6 lbs less than the 676 model it replaces, yet they are marketing that it has more power. I think they improved the 8 ohm power at the expensive of 4 ohm and all 5 channels driven power output.
