All academic oncology jobs are mostly outpatient (unless of course you’re an oncology Hospitalist which is rare). The main difference as far as pp vs academic is whether you’re employed by the hospital or by yourself or a group.

Interestingly, of the 3 surgeons at this hospital (2 of whom are friends of mine), 1 is a board certified HPB surgeon and one a thoracic surgeon.

2018年1月20日 · The only thing that is important is that a deplorable job market is the reality, and going into radiation oncology limits your life opportunities, rather than expanding it. It is sad and hard to say this but it is true. Radiation oncology for me has been more of a prison rather than an expansion of my life.
