why does the rav4 and maybe the highlander no longer have the ablity to screw in the tow eye or hook in the front bumper area? This tow eye was easy to use when stuck in snow,sand, or off road problems. other cars or trucks could easly pull out car with ease. Now you have a special tow truck life use up and use your wheels to tow you out.

This is typical of the original FB battery. They usually start showing symptoms of longer cranking times when cold, then can fail at any time. What year is your RAV4? I was about to buy a Highlander when I noticed the improvement in the RAV4 engine for 2004. Up until now I had ruled out the RAV because I usually take one very long road trip per year (6,000 miles), and assumed that the RAV would not be satisfactory (due to power)on such a long interstate type (65-80mph,10 hr/day)trip.

These suggestions have been gathered from the Forums posts here. Hopefully one of them will work to free your stuck compact disc.

Most RAV4 buyers are probably more value oriented than enthusiasts here. For those who hate the new styling, a $1,000 (net after selling takeoffs) investment in bigger wheels/tires should make a significant difference in a more aggressive look and performance.

We paid 2007 RAV4 in 2007 $18,888 + doc fee + TT&L on new 4x4 base I-4 ... so you can get close to this price or little higher.

Suzuki should put out a version that matches the Rav4 for off-road incompetence and interior decibel levels, and get the mileage ratings corrected. Maybe then a few of those Rav4 buyers would be smart enough to pass on the Rav4's Toyota cachet, and pocket up to $10,000. I say all this without taking cabbage at anyone.
