The Okpe people are the most populous monolithic ethnic nationality in Delta State. Their territorial neighbours are Agbon Kingdom, Agbarho Kingdom and Uvwie Kingdom. The Okpe Kingdom is clearly separated by rivers and waterways from the other communities of Itsekiri, Oghara, Mosogar and Idjerhe (Jesse).
