2021年2月7日 · I received an Oculus Quest 2 as a gift recently and I don't have a phone that can run the app. I tried to get it to activate by using the app on my PC which won't work. Even though it can see the software version and serial number it just does not activate the headset. In a second attempt I sideloaded Google Play onto my Amazon Fire.

So much misinformation from those that want to give bad details, yes the headset only comes with controllers, nothing is wired unless you're playing the quest while charging the headset, the controllers are battery operated so it's obviously wireless, don't listen to the trolls telling you otherwise and yes the Facebook and others are optional, I know because I own a quest 2 myself.
