I think changing logo is too much. Like it's good enough and stuff, may even be better in some aspects, but this is a logo, something that's been around unchanged since the very creation of the game and is remembered by anyone even outside the community in great detail.

Hello fellow users of osu! I know im 2 months late to this but ive seen alot of backlash about the new osu!lazer logo, so why not i make my own new osu!lazer logo? First i hate how the o has a circle which makes me wanna have the whole logo have a circle. That means no letters, only the circle, so that it looks good.

On stable it used the ingame ui font ('Aller' iirc) as the logo font, now lazer is doing the same with Torus. In this case Torus with stylized alternate glyphs is being used (hence the dot in the O) but perhaps the regular O glyph could be used instead.

2017年4月3日 · The excuses, like "it's too big" and "it took over too many logos", are mostly unreasonable post-decision justifications that no one on the attacking side is actually willing to discuss for a compromise with the defenders because they aren't the real reasons the attackers want the osu logo gone.

2019年11月14日 · It's not really direct reason, but to change the logo you have to modify one of the dlls, which I assume peppy doesn't really want people doing. The only direct reason I can think of is being able to change the menu-background without being a supporter

Try osu lazer standard, afaik it uses this for circles, tho they aren't transparent at all and its hard to play with the def skin (i dont personally like it) Reply reply Wi1dCard2210
