Ohio Northern University is a private university located in rural northwest Ohio. We provide students with hands-on experience, undergraduate research opportunities and strong relationships, and 96 percent of our graduates either receive a job or begin graduate school within six months of graduation.

When you apply to Ohio Northern University, you apply to one of our five colleges. And when you’re accepted, you’re immediately part of the college and can begin taking classes toward your degree.

We’ve been devoted to preparing students for legal practice for 140 years, and ONU Law has a rich history of academic excellence. While the world and our college have evolved since our school was founded in 1885, our commitment to strong graduate outcomes remains unchanged.

First-year students can apply to ONU without ACT or SAT scores. You are still able to submit an ACT or SAT score if you believe the score might add value to your application. Test-optional admission is available for all undergraduate programs.

In-person visits are the best way to get to know ONU. However, for students unable to schedule an in-person visit, we offer virtual visits using Zoom. Each visit includes an admissions meeting, academic meeting and a student-led virtual campus tour. Offered weekdays at 3:30 p.m.
