Om Prakash Jindal (7 August 1930 – 31 March 2005), also known as O. P. Jindal, was an Indian industrialist, and politician. He was the founder of the OP Jindal Group, a major steel and power conglomerate.

O.P. Jindal Global is a private deemed to be university [1] situated near Jagdishpur Village, Sonipat-Narela Road, Sonipat, Haryana, India. It was established in 2009 under Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009. [4] The university has been named after Om Prakash Jindal, father of Naveen Jindal. [3]
