I haven't payed a lot of attention to NTFS lately (like the past few years), but I have seen a few other recent topics here where users are having trouble accessing an NTFS drive in Sonoma and Sequoia.

2025年2月4日 · The issue was that of one the three things I needed to give access to was not listed there. Not listed was the actual "NTFS For Mac.app". as shown below. The issue was resolved by downloading and installing the version of NTFS for Mac, from a Seagate site linked below. This is what resolved my issue. Here is the link to the .dmg from the site.

2024年10月15日 · Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with NTFS drive formats on basic macOS to speculate further - I use Paragon NTFS for Mac because I generally need to write to the drives I use. So read-only NTFS drives aren't a problem I ever have directly. A third-party NTFS driver is something you could consider if you are using NTFS drives all the time.

2024年10月5日 · It's not an enclosure problem. It's 100% an issue with the NTFS driver in the OS. No fix for this until Apple fixes it themselves (prepare to wait 1-3 months). You can always get a third party driver, but it's a waste of money when you only need read access to NTFS drives and this has worked without issues for the past decade (for me, at least).
