2025年3月12日 · Windows 11 was successfully reinstalled on the mount drive. I then tried to install the notepad msixbundle file, directly from the download folder and then from the root C drive. Nothing worked. I appreciate your help. But if MS doesn't have a reasonable solution for the Notepad app, I can keep using the free one I was using.

notepad.exe is still notepad.exe and cmd.exe is still cmd.exe in all the language versions of Windows (98,XP,Vista) I've seen (about 20). Folders may be named differently, but executables, libraries, and other important stuff are not translated - at least not the filenames. –

2023年1月29日 · Hello, I am running Windows 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1105). When I open a new Notepad file and type some gibberish in it like "1234567890" and then go to File > Print, the Print dialog loads but displays "No preview available".

2024年1月27日 · Computer was originally set to display in Swedish but I prefeer to have all my tech in English and even though I have changed the display language notepad and notably the screenshot tool remains operating in Swedish. Since I was able to uninstall and reinstall notepad I figured that might fix it but saw no effect.

2024年6月18日 · So I tried to open the Windows 11 notepad app. I've had Windows 11 since I first bought my laptop. Notepad has worked fine and I could use it. Now when I go to my taskbar, I can't find it. In the app directory, I look under N and I only see News. Nothing else. I have no idea what is going on if someone could help.
