In Norse mythology, Vili (/ ˈvɪli / VILL-ee; Old Norse: [ˈwile]) and Vé (/ ˈveɪ / VAY; O.N.: [ˈweː]) are the brothers of the god Odin (from Old Norse Óðinn), sons of Bestla, daughter of Bölþorn; and Borr, son of Búri.

These three gods are the primary Aesir and they are viewed as ancient deities. Vili’s name means ‘will’ and Ve’s name means ‘temple’ in Old Norse.

In Germanic paganism, a vé (Old Norse: [ˈweː]) or wēoh (Old English) is a type of shrine, sacred enclosure or other place with religious significance. The term appears in skaldic poetry and in place names in Scandinavia (with the exception of Iceland), often in connection with an Old Norse deity or a geographic feature.

Vé (pronounced: "vay") is one of the lesser-known gods in Norse mythology, often overshadowed by his brothers Odin and Vili. He is one of the three sons of Borr and the giantess Bestla and belongs to the first generation of the Æsir gods.

According to Snorri Sturluson in Gylfaginning, the three brothers slew the giant Ymir and made of him the earth and the heaven. They also fashioned the first man and woman from a pair of trees they had found on the seashore, and endowed them with life. They provided them with clothing and gave them their names (see Askr and Embla ).
