Do not walk up to his e range if its e is up and you don't have a jungler closeby, even if it means losing cs. Basically avoid any 1v1 scenario possible (unless you got ahead) and go for skirmishes where Diana is more powerful and make more defensive plays because Diana scales way harder than Noc.

Look at camille for example, she has a nocturne ult on 10 sec cd and a cho gath ult on 2 sec cd, if you compare nocturne to the actual op champs you see there is quite the difference.

The thing with noc is that its always long fights you cant press q-w-w and kill him . So you need to isolate him and make sure none of his laners rotate or you CANT fight him. You basically cant kill him with only 1 rotation of spell. You need to play slow because you have higher dps than him BUT he has better cc (and nullify yours).
