2003年11月19日 · I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 5700 three or four months ago. Since the last few days I am noticing a "dead" or "stuck" pixel. It is not on the LCD screen. It coming from "inside". I called the store where I purchased the camera from and they said that will send it to the manifacturer for repair. Is this a common problem with the digital cameras?

2005年5月7日 · Your F3 is an excellent camera for fowl weather. Although I'm all digital, I do a lot of sports photography and the F3's I used to use went through tons of rain/snow - with the platic bags. Once dried out (lightly with a hair drier) and left opened up for the next day in a dry area, they always worked fine.

2007年2月7日 · my story is the same as many others -Nikon coolpix L3 -camera dropped -lens permanently stuck -"lens error" on display -out of warranty and factory repair is likely more than replacement costs -not a fan of just pushing,pulling banging to see what happens. but as long as i've got nothing to lose ...

So, I would like to ask, first, anyone's opinions on Nikon vs Canon and, secondly, any thoughts about the models.
