New car smell is generally due to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) off-gassing. I'm not sure you want to replicate that. It's not a good thing. With new cars I always try to ventilate as much as possible the first few months.

2020年4月21日 · I sprayed it directly on the my 3M Nomad mats and the smell was pretty mild tbh. Maybe my nose is broken? Also I’d say its like a 70% new car smell. Mostly kinda smells like new rubber floor mats with some new hot plastic and a hint of sweetness. Also highlights the Chemical in Chemical Guys. I’d buy it again if the scent sticks long.

I have used it numerous times because the smell isnt bad and isnt overpowering like most air fresheners but it doesnt resemble "new car smell" at all.....

2014年6月23日 · The true new car smell isn't something dealerships spray or use, it's a combination of new plastic, fabric, carpet, leather, metal, etc and the odors they put off while they are out-gassing. Impossible to really recreate in spray form or anything, imo.

2020年9月17日 · I have the Chemical Guys "New Car Smell" spray and it's excellent. Not a perfect match for real new car smell, but very fresh and lasts about a week or two with a light spray in the footwells and trunk.

2022年7月29日 · Even though it used, it smelt brand new. You know how new cars have that fresh smell to it that smells like plastic, rubber and glue (but the good kind of smell). They obviously must have used something to make the car smell like that since it was older, and now after a few months of owning it, it no longer smells like that.
